• Contractor listings. When you list your business, we collect your business name, trade, primary zip code, service radius, phone number, license number, email address, and optionally a business logo.
• Job postings. When a homeowner posts a job, we collect the project description, trade needed, location, and contact method they choose to share.
• Contact submissions. Messages sent through our contact form include your name, email, and message text.
• Usage data. We collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited) for security and analytics.

How we use information

• To publish your contractor profile so homeowners can find you.
• To send you confirmation emails and edit links for your listing.
• To respond to questions or support requests.
• To detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
• To improve the directory experience.

What we publish

Your contractor profile page is public. Business name, trade, city, state, zip, service radius, phone number, license number, and logo are visible to anyone who visits your profile. Your email address is not displayed publicly — it is used only for confirmation and edit-link emails.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that power the directory (hosting, database, email delivery), or when legally required.

Data retention

We keep contractor profiles for as long as the listing is active. You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@theforges.app.

Your choices

• Request an edit link at /find/list-your-services/manage to update or remove your information.
• Email us to request deletion or a copy of your data.

Children

The Board is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
